Typical Online Poker Site in action
Grant me the odds of the following, math wizards:
Online poker site, first hand at heads-up after the other 7 players have been eliminated. After posting the Big Blind, Villian has 1.5x blinds remaining, I have all the rest of the money. I pick up AQ and put him all-in. He calls with Q9. Board runs J T 2 5 8, giving him the straight. Very next hand, Villian limps in. I pick up AJ and again put him all-in. He calls with KJ. Board runs J 2 6 K 3, giving him 2 pair. Next hand I pick up A8s and go all-in. Villian, who now has a slight chip lead, calls with A2. Board runs 8 7 5 4 3, giving him a straight. I finished second, losing all 3 consecutive hands when he was dominated each time. What are the odds are A) this even happening, and B) an idiot suck-out king like this clown getting his just due and contracting some appropriate illness, like Rocky Monster Spotted Fever or Beri-Beri Disease? |

About 2,2% to lose all those three hands.

Re: Typical Online Poker Site in action
The odds of him being dominated three times in a row must be even less (than you losing). Bad luck turned good in his case I guess.

Re: Typical Online Poker Site in action
Do you think he should have folded any of those hands or why do you call him an idiot?
