Default what happened to... (+ nsfw)

the OOT "rule" (or was it an understanding?) that, if you make a self serving post, especially one with boring emo/metro/adolescent undertones, you have to also post a hot chick pic to make up for taking up OOT's time and space?

girlfriend broke up with you and you don't know how to go on living? Jessica Alba in a skimpy bikini will get you your advice. stalker ex-gf won't go away? post a pic of famke janssen artfully nude with all the naughty bits hidden, and the collective wisdom of OOT shall be yours.

sadly, OOTiots are neither following nor enforcing this custom any longer. that's sad.

sometimes i enjoy reading OOT at work. it sucks when the entire front page says NSFW when it's just about general discussion. i dont come to OOT for the women.

This was a bad rule because of people who can't read NSFW threads at work, so it went away

That's what I do.

And yeah, it wasn't a rule, more a custom, and it was dumb.

so many relationship threads on the front page today though. at least with the rule they would actually have content.

If it's IE, it's under Tools>Internet Settings>Advanced

It's something like a tickbox for 'show images' or something like that.
