Default LV Monorail

Staying at the Wynn, will it be of any use to me?
Map on the monorail site looks like it may be too far to be useful

At $5 for a ride that goes a few miles at most, this seems very expensive. In NYC, a train ride costs $2 and you can go much further.

Still cheaper than a taxi, and you can get an all day pass if you plan on going back and forth a lot. I have yet to have a good experience with a taxi driver in vegas, so I'm all about the monorail next time. (but like others said, monorail would not work well if you are at the wynn).

I liked the monorail. it is a long walk from the poker rooms to the monorail and back in most cases but Vegas traffic sucks.

Its not all about distance.... you can go farther on a subway than you can on an express bus that costs twice as much

I used the monorail once on my last trip to Vegas and was pleasantly surprised at how efficient it was after all the horror stories I'd heard about it shortly after it first opened. The walks were a little far, but still not bad. I would use it again, especially to avoid a ridiculously long cab line.

It should be 60+ in Vegas starting next week. Try walking. It will let you see the Strip much better.

walking is +EV

even though the blocks are about 1.5 miles long, still one of the best streets in the US to walk
