Default 5/10 66 with a bad turn spot

8-handed 5/10NL on PP. Everyone but MP1 has 1k.

I've been at the table for two orbits and played two hands where I limped and folded to a bet postflop. No one should have any stats on me, as I don't play NL on PP. No one has seemed out of the ordinary.

UTG folds, I call with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] next, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, CO calls, Button makes it 45, SB folds, everyone but CO call.

Four to the flop of 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
BB checks, I bet 150 into a pot of 200ish, MP1 folds, Button calls, SB folds.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
What do I do here?
I checked and he checked behind.

River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Do I fire here?

I don't like your bet at the flop very much, but if you do, you should definately fire on the turn again in this spot. I wouldn't believe you if I were button and you fired river all of a sudden after checking the turn. He's not gonna give u credit for an 8, and definately not for a 7 either. If you had a flushdraw/flushdraw with a 7 you would fire turn, if you had an 8, you would fire turn, if you had 22, you would fire turn. If he's any good at all he should realize that you realize that he's checking an overpair behind on turn 100%, and realizing that he knows it would just be silly for you to go for a checkraise or anything ridiculuous on the turn.

Expect to get called on river if you bet.
