Default firepay just stole 2600 from me!

they closed my account today with about 2600 or so in it, it has been up and running for probably close to a year and for some reason they decided to close it when it had money in it

i emailed them and asked why and they said it has been conclusively linked to my brothers email and he has outstanding funds, so they cant enable my account

i dont get why they would just up and decide to close it today when it has been open for so long, i have also had a lot of problems with neteller, but they havent stolen any of my money

can i take legal action here?

would it even be worth it for 2600?

does anyone know of a phone number for firepay, so i dont have to deal with hearing the same generic [censored] from their email?

Call your brother and tell him to get his account sorted out. He makes good, I suspect your account magically reopens.

If the account is in arrears, it's theirs to keep.

Ever notice how these "So-and-so just stole $x from me" threads turn out to be that the customer has screwed up somehow?

man, the you and "your brother" thing just keeps going and going and...

i remember your neteller rants, and now firepay?

dont know the real skinny, and probably dont want to.

and you've certainly provided us with ample information to intelligently advise you regarding taking legal action.

but if you REALLY have such a brother, and have this kind of track record with "him" and his financing accounts, why in the world would you let your money and your accounts be "conclusively linked" to him/them in any way?

Just pretend you did a second 100VPIP challenge and lost another 2,700.

Firepay is no good.

I can't speak for this gentleman, but I have mentioned before they took $500 out of my account, claiming a credit card chargeback. After numerous faxes of credit card statements and phone calls proving I never did a chargeback,
in the end, they kept the money.

You are simply screwed when they decide to keep your funds.
