Default A Hand I didn\'t play

This wasn't me. I am giving someone who is a new player some feedback. I'm curious what you think.

What line would you take, if any.

9 handed 1/2 game on Party.

Hero limps UTG with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (let's not discuss this limp too much), CO calls, sb completes, bb checks.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

sb and bb check, hero bets, co folds, sb calls, bb folds.

Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

sb bets (let's assume he is loose/aggressive), Hero raises, sb calls.

River: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

sb checks, hero bets, sb calls

Thanks

I probably play it the same way. I would fold on any street to continued aggression from sb; i'm guessing his hand contains a four. But, then again, my hand-reading is terrible...

It upsets me when good players like you, say this.

Fine discuss it. I just didn't want the whole thread to be about it.

I'd probably just call the turn and check behind on the river.

SB donking the turn on a blank does indeed look odd.

It suggests that he is trying to represent that he has slowplayed trip Aces. Or does he perhaps now have a full house ?

However, I find it difficult to believe that a lag would often slowplay. So, I like your friends turn raise and I am not ready to give him credit for a boat.

Finally when SB only calls the turn raise and then checks the river, I wouldnt give him credit for a boat, Aces or the bdfd.

So I like your friends value bet on the river, because lags often seem to call with weak holdings.

(By the way, I dont mind the pf limp. LOL )

Post-flop looks okay to me. I like the turn raise.
