Ick. 3rd is ok esp. with this ante structure. 4th is cool. 5th is where I find a fold most likely (did seat one call all in or make a partial raise?). Basically, he prob doesn't think your folding and could easily have a flush that he's checkraising with. And your hand is dead. If you get to 6th, fold there b/c now your beaten by (most likely) a flush or trips or two pair. Let it go.

You should have folded on 5th street but you know that. You realized your cards were dead.

I am not a real well booked player but I have played a long time. FWIW something I tell myself to keep me for becoming married to my cards is that the average winning hand in 7-stud is trip 9s ( i don't know if it is or not...I think I read that in one of my books. Nonetheless I tell myself this).

I have lost more money with 2 dead pair then probably any hand. I don't know if this helps or not but maybe if you think of average winning hands it will help you keep in perspective the value of a dead premium pair. Especially when you aren't heads up.
