Getting Traffic
What is the best way to drive traffic to a non-rakeback poker site?
The site is for newbies with freebies, introductory info, articles, etc... The paid banner here in this forum thru AEV has been the best thing so far to drive traffic to our rakeback site. Any suggestions on what has worked or might work in the future (banners, links, freerolls, other forums, etc...) are appreciated. |

Offline promotions / niche marketing? [/ QUOTE ] Anything specifically you've tried in the past that has worked? Even in general terms, if you've had another type of business. |

Re: Getting Traffic
I have tried endless advertising venues. Almost all have flopped except for 2+2 advertising. The problem is that most quality poker portals have their own affiliate agendas and will not take outside advertising, especially rakeback advertising. The best thing to do IMO is create original content that the search engines will appreciate and get refers through searches.
