I Normally would say raise but with four limpers I lean towards call.

I don't think your equity against 4 limpers is that high. You are also OOP so I just call.

I used to raise in this spot but I just complete now. You get 5.667:1 on your complete (assuming no raise by BB) and you're sure to have the implied odds (7:1) if you flop your set. If face cards fall on the flop, you can c/f without losing much and if all low cards, you can feel confident in betting your overpair. If your 9s are still an overpair on the flop, watch out for a little two pair/set as someone is sure to be limping with suited connectors/gappers or a little PP here.
You probably have the best hand PF, but it is sure to not be the best hand on the flop. Raising puts you in a tough position OOP on the flop. |
