i was a very winning player in the 55's and a decent winner in the 109's.but i cant seem to beat the speed sngs. i didnt play much (only like 300), but i dont want to play a thousand of these before finding out that i am playing bad. so am i alone in this?

I've been getting lit up at the 10+1s. I think everyone's ROI is bound to go down as the new system helps out the fish. I havent seen any post which mentions a decent ROI in speeds based on actual data. I posted a 19 buy-in drop and people are telling me it could very well be varience and not the new system. So ya, your not alone.

Nope, i'm in the middle of a gargantuan downswing. Not sure if its just luck (beginning to doubt that) or my inability to adapt or what.

I've been running poorly (about break-even) in these as well, over a similarly small sample. But, I've also sat with regulars who claim their ROI in the speeds is the same as it was in the old-format SnGs.

Ur not the only one. I played them for two days str8 alongside my regular heads up stuff for the prop bet and I only made $88 this week on them.

I was a winning player at the 33s before the switch, and had just started dabbling in the 55s. Since they changed the software, and after a ridiculous 2 weeks of speeds, I am now comfortably bankrolled for 109s, and beating them very handily over my first 100. (and crushing the 55s and 77s).

sometimes variance is fun.
