I think you have to try to get more money into this pot at some point. I'd probably just go ahead and raise the flop.

I don't hate the flop call if you're plan was to raise blank turns.

Given your read, I think the flop call is okay IF you plan on raising the turn.

I think pushing on a safe turn is probably your best play here... it really puts the pressure on draws, for which good TAGs will fold. If you were already behind on the flop, it's tough to not get it all in and go broke anyway.

If he had a draw on the flop, either diamonds or OESD, by waiting to raise the turn his pot equity is cut in half.

A 35% equity draw on the flop, plus a 3-bet all in for fold equity, is an okay play with two cards to come. On the turn, he'd only have an 18% chance of hitting, which would make it a significant mistake to the bulk of his stack into play with LESS equity.

I understand that but when we raise he turn this villain will always fold unless he is getting odds to draw.

So basically when i raise he calls with sets/2pr and folds everything else.

OTOH if we just call turn we get the following scenario:

-Blank river
*sets/2pr, he bets, I call
*Missed draws, he sometimes checks and i check behind OR he bets and i call

-Ugly river
*sets/2pr, he bets, I fold OR he check, i check
*made draws, he bets, i fold
*missed draws, he bets, I fold.

So the only time im better off raising turn is when there is an ugly river card and he bets missed draws.
