Not too sure about this, I figured he bets the turn with AA,KK always.... So I guess he's going for pot control with TT-QQ? He is a solid player, and we really havent been tangling, so I really thought I could fold out TT, JJ here?

Here villain is a 15/8/1.6 Went 2 SD 14% over 92 hands. So quite a weak tightie.

He was acting really quickly.. check calling quick on the flop and turn. I wasnt quite sure what to make of that. I was slightly concerned he was super slowplaying a J, but 2p just felt more likely. I felt like he would call the turn with 2p but fold the riv.

hand #1 i dont 3bet with a3o from the blinds. just muck the offsuit ace and 3bet with a sc or a small pp or something.
and I shutdown after your flop bet gets called. I dont like the river bet as I just dont see him folding many hands in that spot that he called the flop with.

i think if you're going to bluff hand 1 it's better to crai on the river. if not then check it down and hope he has J10 or something.

hand 2 it looks like he wants to go to showdown. definitely with a 2 pair hand.

hand 1: usually just fold pre, as played flop bet is marginal but ok. As played, I highly doubt you fold out any better hands -- just give it up imo.

hand 2: I would give it up on the turn vs this guy.

I never normally 3b bluff with A3o.. id prefer a mid s/c... but w/e... I hadnt 3b this guy for absolutely ages.

I'm unsure of hand one river bet... but fact is he's playing for pot control and for some reason I thought I could get a fold out of TT,JJ.... is this too ambitous?

In Hand one, whats he gonna call the flop bet with but fold to further aggression? In hindsight he must of had TT-JJ that I pushed him off? As I say I hadnt tangled / 3b him for ages so i doubt he called me too light pre or post.

No, he's not folding TT or JJ after you checked the turn. most likely a straight draw that missed.

PF is awful. I really hate the river bluff. It's truly gay. If you had a draw, you are probably betting turn and getting it in. If you had an overpair, you are betting turn and getting it in. What on earth are you repping? A2 maybe? lol.


Hand 2: What are you thinking on the turn?? River doesn't look completely horrible considering you did bet the turn and he c/c'd river and checked river.

Hand 1 I don't really like. He looks like a bit of a station and your line isn't great either.

Hand 2, what are the stack sizes? I like the spot but prefer a shove on the river assuming 100bb stacks.
