How to calculate Total money bet using PT?
I am interested in how to know the total gross amount of money I have put into a pot in my poker lifetime, can I find that out with PT or estimate it roughly?

Re: How to calculate Total money bet using PT?
If you've converted your databases to postgresql, you can put the following query in the SQL window
select sum(total_bet) as TOTAL_BET, sum(total_won) as TOTAL_WON, sum(total_won-total_bet) as NET_WON from game_players inner join players on players.player_id = game_players.player_id where players.screen_name = 'Pokerpun' Replace Pokerpun with your screen name, leave the ''. If you don't have postgresql, it's a bit more complicated. It's probably easier to install postgresql and convert the database than anything else. |

Don't forget to append a semicolon to the query if you enter the query in the sql window.

I bet that would be an interesting number to see. I'm a barely above breakeven player at low stakes... I wonder if I could truthfully say "I've gambled a million dollars in my life".

[ QUOTE ]
So if I bet 3k into a 650 pot because the guy only has 500 left this query show me as betting the 3k I assume? [/ QUOTE ] It depends on the site. PokerTracker stores data differently for every site which is kind of stupid. For Party, it counts overbets as part of bets and winnings. For PokerStars and FT, it doesn't. To separate the query out by site, use this: select sum(total_bet) as TOTAL_BET, sum(total_won) as TOTAL_WON, sum(total_won-total_bet) as NET_WON from game_players inner join players on players.player_id = game_players.player_id inner join game on game.game_id = game_players.game_id inner join poker_sites on poker_sites.site_id = game.site_id where players.screen_name = 'your screen name' and poker_sites.site_name = 'Party & Affiliates' Below is a list of site names. You can use AND poker_sites.site_name = '.....' to add more sites Absolute Poker B2B Network Betfair Bodog Boss Media CryptoLogic Everest Poker FullTilt Pacific Paradise Poker Party & Affiliates Poker Stars PokerRoom Prima/Ladbrokes Tain Network Tribeca Tables Ultimate Bet WorldPx iPoker Network |
