Is there a list of possible hand a player may have by his VP$P?

0-15% same + AQs,QQ

depends on which position and PFR stats. but play with in on pokerstove

for example, top 15% is: 77+,A7s+,K9s+,QTs+,JTs,ATo+,KTo+,QJo

but the range should be tightened up slightly for an EP raise and loosened for a LP raise, until you see proof he doesnt take position into consideration.

PFR matters because you can remove a certain portion if he limps, and a certain portion if he raises, given he doesnt mix up his play

I think that you need to give more information. Are they raising UTG? Are they 3-betting? I think these will all make for different answers.

I'd suggest downloading a copy of PokerStove.
You can use the distribution tool to come up with any idea of what their range is.

One thing that matters a lot is if they are positionally aware or not though.

For example, a poor 30/10 player probably raises his same 10% in any position.

An aggressive 25/20 player though probably has something closer to 15% vpip near UTG position and as high as 30% vpip near the button.

nope ... you can take pokerstove and see what the TOP 10% of hands etc are ... but those are in hot/cold sims.


In actual play ranges differ ... I'm pretty sure that if pokey and I sat down and played for example a vpip 18 game, our mix of hands would differ.
