As you can see I was left with a silly grin on my face and 60 chips. I fought my way back to end 4th and when I pushed all 1600 chips in with AK, the SAME button called with his A5 and I lost AK for the 14th time in a row when pushing.

He hit his 5 and I LOATH AK!!

I am not a fan of all in early in tourney on a draw. But hey, it is not the worst play I have ever seen. He probably is putting you both on a pair and worst case scenario you have flopped a str8. With odds of about 40% to catch his flush he likes the gamble. He probably also thinks if he catches 2 pair or a set then that might take it as well if you are holding say K10. With fold equity there also I can see why he shoved on a semi bluff.

He beats AA right now, and has 48% against T7 two pair, only hands he is behind of are sets and straights, sure its fine play.

Stop worrying about how bad/good villians play is when your flop min raise on that board is worse.

Yea - I was min raising BECAUSE I knew someone would see that as weak and go over me - I was praying for someone to see weakness and I could then push all in.

So before you guy pass judgment hear my reasoning.

I was trying to trap people like YOU!!!!!! But - I guess it back fired!! LOL

In retrospect seeing the two flush cards was begging for NO min raise but being hand #2 I was not "into" the game.

OH as for the AK comment - you are right - it FELT like that many - looking at PT it's only 9 - SORRY!

TY ger664 - you are correct! But remember I was counting on someone going over me and then pushing it all in. With so many players SOMEBODY was going to try to take advantage of my weak raise and then I got'm! I thought!

eurythme you really are an ASS aren't you! Every post you make is insulting to someone. Grow up! You are now on ignore! I bet you have the record for the number of people that have you on ignore.

Nobody would go over the top of your min raise unless they had a flush most likely, maybe the guy with 77 would have pushed. In a SnG, don't get all caught up in trying to be trappy. Make somebody pay for a draw. I don't care what logic you provide, the min raise here was horrible.

Yes, a decent SnG player might see your min raise as weak, but most people would still not risk a re-raise here with anything less than a lower set. In this situation, you did have a set-over-set, but the vast majority of the time you won't, so your min raise will not work to suck somebody into coming over the top. It will only serve to allow somebody to draw out cheaply on you. It's already a decent pot, if you raise normally and take it down, so be it. If somebody still wants to call with a draw after you've offered unfavorable odds, even better. But a min raise here is just bad.
