Default Two hands late tournament

Tourney is held at local fire company down to 8 players last 7 get paid.

Blinds are 700/1400 I am in the big blind third in chips. The button, a very tight player, moves in he for 3500 I call with 84 off suit i will still have plenty of chips left if I lose this hand is this a good call.

Hand number two we are 6-handed chip counts are UTG 35000, UTG+1 8500 ,CO 14000, Button 60000, SB 22000 and me I have 18600 blinds are 1500/3000 first hand of new blind level

Folded to Button raises to 7000 I have K 10 and I push, I did this because i know the button is very aggresive and will raise with a lot of hand here. Is it ok to call and see the flop or is this a push or fold sitution and if so is a fold good here.

Hand 1 is a standard call. I love these spots because it gets the rest of the table thinking I suck.

Hand 2 is close. Not sure what you mean by "a lot of hands" -- any A, all pairs, and high Ks? Or any A, K, or Q, any suited, any connectors, etc? In general I'd fold this and look for spots to open-push but I may be overly nitty in spots like this.

Hand 1 is a fold for me - if you think button will lay down to a push you might resteal, but usually at this blind level your M is too small to call trash oop.

Hand 2 is a clear fold or push. If you think buttons raising range is very wide i might push.

Look at the stack sizes, this is an INSTACALL.

Edit: think I got it - OR moves all-in for his last 3500 - than this is a call of course
