I'll be there from 4pm to midnight. What do you plan on playing?
1-2?

FWIW be prepared to wait a long time for a seat on saturday. I got there at 4:00 this past saturday an the lists were 40 names deep for all games. I waited by the brush and when they announced "last call" for some random player I said, "yep, that's me. Lock it up." My initals were finally called for the 10/20 game TWO HOURS later.

I am going to try out the 1/2. Getting there late Friday night maybe I will just scope out the room (not likely) and crash. Is the room 24/7?

Let me know where you'll be at and I'll look you up. Be nice to meet a 2+2er.

Jesus. Thanks for the advice. Are there dead spots early morning or late, late nights?

I usually play weeknights, and the wait isn't horrible at around 7:00. I'll put my name in, grab a sandwich and a brew, and when I'm done I'll only have a 15 minute wait for the 5/10 or 10/20 games.

I expect that if you get to the room before noon it shouldn't be that bad. Mid afternoon was a mob scene.

edit - it is 24/7, although they'll be closed from March 16-17 to relocate the room downstairs.

Also, it tends to thin out by midnight or so.

Yes, I'm a selfish [censored] for taking that open seat. What can I say except it was worth it.
