13.5k- Tricky 2 Pair Vs Big Stack (MWP)
I did not reraise pf b/c of the big stack, I did not lead turn b/c of the big stack.

Re: 13.5k- Tricky 2 Pair Vs Big Stack (MWP)
I think you're ahead, 2 pair to 1 pair A's for BB. CO I think either has a lower pair or is on a draw, either str or flush, or very likely both (has a lower pair and a draw).
However, even though I think you're ahead, I'm not sure enough to risk my tourney life on this hand. So, I'd call here, and hope the river is not K or anything that would make CO's str or flush. If that is true (and if you don't improve to FH), then I'd lead out 3200 but fold to a big reraise. If one of the many scare cards comes on the river, I'd check and then call anything up to about 5000 but fold to any larger bet. That's pretty weak/scared but I'd need some reads on the players to act any bolder. This sounds too much like one of those last hand stories you hear in the bathroom at live events. |

Re: 13.5k- Tricky 2 Pair Vs Big Stack (MWP)
Preflop depends on COs playing style - if he steals a lot with these minimum raises I'd raise.
Flop check is fine. You have to bet the turn - you are ahead most time here and the pot is huge, so shove it in. The big stack is irrelevant as you effectivly play for the size of your stack and you can't let a pot 12k go with 2 pair. |

shove the turn. Theres plenty of draws out there, make him pay to see the river. You will be ahead here most of the time but there arent many river cards that you are going to like.
I like the flop, particularly if you were going to c/r |

The pot only becomes 12k after I check the turn |

That makes 0 sense |

Re: 13.5k- Tricky 2 Pair Vs Big Stack (MWP)
shoving will eliminate anybody calling with draws... but I'm not 100% sure you have the best hand here (I'm just pretty sure). I think a c/r is in order here. Bring it to 8K. That looks stronger than a shove would anyway... if you get bumped... ??

Re: 13.5k- Tricky 2 Pair Vs Big Stack (MWP)
well CO obviously doesnt have AQ as he would protect his hand
on the other side im wondering why he doesnt C-Bet the flop im putting CO on a draw KT is possible but most times they would bet turn here with KT incase of draws dont know about BB could have QJ could have AT could have QT either way youre probably ahead most times on this turn so i would raise here Allin here is Fine |
