Standard play for OESD heads up?
Against only one opponent...maybe i should have called behind?
What are the advantages of calling and then dumping when you miss the turn and they price you out, vs. repopping? Full Tilt Poker, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LeggoPoker Hand History Converter SB: $7.80 BB: $3.60 UTG: $10.40 MP: $0.25 CO: $9.85 Hero (BTN): $10.75 Pre-Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN) 3 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $0.35</font>, SB calls $0.30, BB folds Flop: ($0.80) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">SB bets $0.80</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.40</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $7.45 and is All-In</font>, Hero calls $5.05 |

I'd just call on the flop because it looks like any decent-sized flop raise is putting you all-in anyway. |

Re: Standard play for OESD heads up?
It's not the kind of hand that you can fold out the bettor, so you're at best laying odds. Try not to do that.

Re: Standard play for OESD heads up?
Calling has the advantage of keeping the pot small thus making our turn decision easier when we miss, while raising bloats the pot and ties us to it also we're gonna hate it when we get re raised, as happened here. Raising is also bad because we are an underdog.....maybe I'm missing something but unless we think he will fold alot then I don't see any reason to raise here
