Re: -$22- Two early pushes, standard to too aggressive?
#1) Call and pray for a set. Not enough in the pot to justify the risk, especially with so many people in it.
#2) I'd fold. Not enough limpers to get the right odds for playing for set value, and this PP is too low to play against multiple opponents. |

Re: -$22- Two early pushes, standard to too aggressive?
Hand #2 is much better than Hand #1.
I thought we had gotten away from PVSing. I am not a big fan of pushing marginal hands with large stack/blind ratios. There's always that one yeehaw that calls with QJ or some [censored]. Add in the times you're actually a 4:1 dog, and it just makes me queasy doing stuff like this. Hand 2 actually isn't that bad however...meh, I'm ok with it. |

1) A little iffy (even for me). I'd probably just call.
2) A no-brainer, I can't see doing anything else. |

1) A little iffy (even for me). I'd probably just call. [/ QUOTE ] In relation to the chip stack left to call his all in I would say hand pretty dangerous. Many of the players left to call him have more chips than him, HOWEVER, they may be too scared to call an all in an risk a good chunk of their chips to call a relatively small stacked all in since they have limped in. Like stated b4, i would call this and pray for the best. If i felt the table was fairly passive I would stick with the all in move. |

Re: -$22- Two early pushes, standard to too aggressive?
Hand 1: I agree that it is too risky to push here. Limp, and do the "no set, no bet" deal.
Hand 2: I agree with 45suited... pushing is by far the best option there. |

Re: -$22- Two early pushes, standard to too aggressive?
for the 2nd hand - a push with 13BB from C0+1 is almost surely -EV with 77. its almost impossible to find range for +EV in sngpt. i cant see how a limper helps the situation. i would fold

2) A no-brainer, I can't see doing anything else. [/ QUOTE ] really>? this is a no brainer for you? i actually think it is quite close and lean towards folding. i hate pushing into four random hands and one better than random hand here. 13 bbs is short but not too short. could you explain why you think this is so obvious... i must be off my game. ps. what is your standard move here without a limper? |

hey 1c5
i really dont like either and i will look for a better spot when the blinds get bigger. when i was in the 22s i did these pushes a lot and i found that i got killed. but to be honest if you change both these hands to AK i like the pushes, is that bad? |
