Default Reraised all in with bottom set on straightening board

First post here, please forgive me if it has issues.

1,000 player $1 buy-in tourney with 150 people remaining. UTG+1 is playing quite a few hands lately.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t800 (10 handed) internettexasholdem.com

UTG+2 (t13761)
MP1 (t23344)
MP2 (t8629)
MP3 (t4269)
CO (t6429)
Button (t12174)
Hero (t18385)
BB (t21387)
UTG (t7129)
UTG+1 (t17757)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t800, 6 folds, Hero raises to t2100, BB calls t1700, UTG+1 calls t1700.

Flop: (t6300) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets t5000, BB folds, UTG+1 calls [t15232] hero?

Any comments are appreciated (I need all the help I can get). Thanks.

One more question before I post the results...

How is my flop bet? Too much/too little?

Your flop bet is Ok. Your preflop bet kind of sucks though. Make it bigger.

raise more PF. Raising to t2100 is pointless, make it at least t3200.

turbo call.

Something is messed up with the hand history. I didn't raise to 2100- I raised 2100 to 2400 (3x the BB). I probably should have raised more, but I wanted to point that out.

I called instantly. In retrospect this was an embarrassingly easy call that probably wasn't even worth posting, but here are the results.

Hero calls t10232.

Turn: (t21532) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t21532) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t21532

Results in white below:
Hero has 9d 9s (three of a kind, nines).
UTG+1 has Th Kh (straight, king high).
Outcome: UTG+1 wins t21532.

You have to call. You still had 7 outs to a house or quads from the flop if he did have a straight. 10 Outs on the turn. Very few people will call a pre flop raise with KT bad luck.

It's an instacall, but I don't think this holds for a $1 MTT.
