how pissed do you get after a bad session?
just had my worst session to date. 5-10NL, 1,199 hands, -$4500. never lost more than 2k in a day before. Already ripped a pillow in half. How do you handle your tough nights that make you want to toss your laptop into your tv?

I come to grips that losing a large amount of money is possible for any session I play. I am usually disappointed with a losing session, especially a large loss, but I don't let that stop me from enjoying life.
The main thing I do is look at my bankroll and assess whether I need to move down to a lower limit because of the loss.

me: $1440 villain 1: $550ish villain 2: $1390 villain 1 minraises UTG, villain 2 calls, 3 more callers, I raise the button to $145 with AKh, both villains call. flop Q J 6 all hearts villain 1 pushes, villain 2 pushes, I call. They both have QJ. turn 6 river 6.

Poker is brutal at times and you have to realize that and accept it or you should try playing go fish or something that isn't as stressful. Enjoy poker and don't take it too seriously

There is no easy way to handle this but if u never lost more then 2 buyins in a day u have been pretty lucky so u should try to think of ways to deal with it. Like going to the gym or getting drunk, both works for many of us.

When the loss isnt that big or I just get outdrawn in a pot of 2-3 buy-ins I use to throw my Pokerstars Stress Bar in the wall.

Only replying to this because its exactly where Im at right now. Honestly I have gotten more attrocious suckout beats tonight than in the last 2 months combined. It makes me want to break things. However, instead I will just go sleep it off and break things tomorrow.
