KK preflop

I've always heard that its best to get as much money in preflop with KK and this has shown +ev for me over 32k hands. What I find interesting is how often I have run into AA when I hold KK, and not vice versa.

My question is, do people at 25NL actually fold and/or not raise KK preflop?

According to my PT stats:

In 32k hands at 25NL, I've held AA 151 times, KK 163 times

Of the 163 times I've held KK I've been up against AA 7 times and sucked out once. Statistically KK runs into AA once every twenty-two times and you suck out against an overpair about 20% of the time so these numbers look normal to me.

Of the 151 times I've held AA I've only been up against KK 1 time (vs a donk with 1/4 a BI). I find it hard to believe I have only been up against KK once which leads me to believe that people are folding KK preflop to a 3 or 4 bet, or they are cold calling and folding post flop.

I play somewhat tight 14/12 but I think there are alot of people who wouldn't know that and even if they do, my range for 3 betting is alot wider than just AA/KK.

Is getting all in preflop with KK the best play or should more respect be given when people 4 or 5 bet shove?

Its called variance. you've just been getting the wrong end of the KK vs AA matchups lately.
