i have in recent days decided to make L08 poker a real pursuit. my question is when drawing for half of the pot, which i realize is rarely a good idea what is the process. it seems like you would just cut the pot in half but that doesnt seem quite right. please give me a hand thanks

It seems pretty easy:
Pot equity is: Sum of (fraction of the pot * chance that you'll get that fraction) Just remember that you'll be looking at full cost to stay in as well. |

yeah its seems that way im just double checking i was told by someone that if there are say eight bets in the pot and im drawing to half of it that im not actually getting 4-1 that im actually getting closer to 3-1 im not sure why.
