Default KK oop on a monotone board in a 2bet pot

Villian in this hand had seemed particularly loose passive, so it seemed pretty straight forward to play, so picture this hand against an unknown or a known TAG. How would you go about playing it?

Villian should view me as a pretty nitty tag playing 17/15/4 over about 100 hands.

My goal in this hand was to bet enough to get value and not commit myself to the hand, since if villian raises on the turn or the river than I don't think i'm good. Do you guys look to get it in here or take a more cautious line like I did?

What do you do if he raises turn, what about river?

I think I check the river to induce bluffs from missed draws that would correctly fold to a river bet. You'll also still get bets from hands like KT/AT this way and it keeps the pot under control in case you're up against 2 pair or the unlikely made flush.

Are you calling up to a pot sized bet on this river? If not, how much?

I can see a missed draw betting, but I think KT or worse checks it back, and even AT some of the time.

Yeah I think up to a psb would be worth a call, although I think I'd have to fold to a push which would entail folding the best hand at least some of the time.

I'm torn between inducing a bluff and just value betting the river as you did. This certainly feels more like a draw than a made hand as played, but even so we're risking a check-through. I guess it comes down to what flavor of aggression this guy has, which goes beyond a stat based read.

Thinking about it more, I suppose the standard 2p2 line would be to value bet, but what is he going to call w/ that we beat? (And is that more than 50% of his range?) I suppose you'll get calls from JJ-QQ, AT,KT, and possibly QT/JT so you probably played it right although I make the river bet more like $18-$20 in that case.

Good hand, looking forward to other responses.

If he raises the turn i think i'm screwed and i prob let it go.

If he raises river, i'm probably screwed and i fold also.

Bet the turn $10 - 11.

River - Either bet so Tx can call, or check and induce a bluff.
