dude, this hand seems pretty butchered to me.
I don't think i like the call preflop against short taggy villain, but not that bad
flop is where it gets real bad. I don't think there is any reason to get it in here. problem is, it actually is correct for you to call at this point; that is exactly why your raise is so bad!
now you have to call getting huge odds with probably 25-30% equity. however, ultimately you are committing his stack on a flop where you are basically never in good shape.

that line of reasoning would make it correct to stack off with seven-deuce just because the "huge odds" he's getting by bloating the pot?

one line says there's no reason to get it in there, and then you say he has to call???

dude, just because i'm holding kings when a 12/1/1 three bets me large and i KNOW he has aces, doesn't mean i dump a huge stack to him.

this hand is bad. don't compound the mistake. just saying "butchered badly" is 'nuff.

Just fold, move on. On the flop with two people left to act after you, this is a bad board to get cute with a semibluff.

I think that preflop call is marginal. I dont see you being ahead of TAG SS's range when he raises a limper and since hes short you really arent getting good implied odds to hit flop hard or pick up flush draw. When CO calls it makes ur call a little better and gives you a better immediate price with position but he isnt exactly a full stack either. It is a smallish raise however.
I dont like the flop either. Your title suggest a float but you arent floating here at all.??!! His cbet is weak and I do like attacking weak cbets. you have position on him but when u raise u still have UTG to act between you. Overall i think this is meh. WHen he 3bets your flop raise this is a clear fold. Do you really need us to tell you that? I often find that weak leads and weak raises from shorties are meant to induce raises/3bets IMO.

How are you closing the betting? SB, BB, UTG still yet to act after you here.
