Don\'t go broke in unraised pot?
this villain, running about 38/20 over 70 hands. In the pots I have played with him, he has been very aggressive and I folded to his bets/raises postflop. To be honest I was involved in a big pot in another site, so I didn't really focus on the decision when he minraised. Please comment on my flop action vs the minraise and the best action to take once I turn top 2.

Yeah, postflop is fine. Don't c/r turn if you don't wanna get it in. I'd consider raising pre sometimes because limpers are so weak.

std, button can be reraised u with all kinds of hands there, sux if he had TJ, but his range is way more than that...

Re: Don\'t go broke in unraised pot?
I don't particularly like this unless you think button is very bad. You see 777 a lot, also occasionally JT. If villain is very bad you sometimes see AA or AK, but otherwise there's not a huge amount that you're ahead of here. Maybe 8cTc or something.

Lots of dumb stuff in his range since this is a limped pot.
Must call, but i'd just bet the turn myself. |

[/ QUOTE ] The buttons vpip is nearly 40% and he's quite agressive. That player could reasonably have many 2 pair combos here which hero beats on the turn. As well as a slowplayed AA. |

Re: Don\'t go broke in unraised pot?
the only likely hand to beat you hear is 77, JT and 99 are also possible but less likely. but once you c/r (and i think its a good spot) you gotta call the push.
