200NL: KK in SB vs btn - turn decision
villain is 19/15/4
I don't think I've 3bet him yet this session. What's the best plan for this turn? Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Button ($278.20) Hero ($269.75) BB ($200) UTG ($294.05) MP ($152.05) CO ($128.35) Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Button raises to $7, Hero raises to $24, 1 fold, Button calls $16. Re: 200NL: KK in SB vs btn - turn decision
94/call shove or check/shove both look pretty sweet to me. im leaning toward betting 94 so as to not give the possibility of a free card.

Re: 200NL: KK in SB vs btn - turn decision
check/shove. He's betting a wide range for protection/value, and calling a wide range since you could be semi-bluffing AhKx or whatever.

Re: 200NL: KK in SB vs btn - turn decision
hmmmm. you haven't 3b him this session. he's pretty tight. He called your 3b and a cbet. I think an overpair or the nut FD is really all his range is.
At first I was thinking a second barrel would be good, but I'm not so sure. It goes back to your read of him. you have two options imo: a - second barrel. I go 70-80ish. I would prob shut down to a raise here. A call would confuse me as he could just have something simple like Ah 8x or something weird like that. If called, I prob c/f the river to any real bet unless it's an overbet that looks like a steal. b - you can check f/c/r. if he's floated with only a FD in the past, then c/f may be good here. I like leading. It tells me right where I am in the hand and he may be willing to lay down right there. |

[/ QUOTE ] Check here would be stupid, since he would check many of his probable holdings that you beat, like 1010,JJ,QQ. If he checks behind on turn there are so many river cards that could come which would make it harder to gain max value from this hand. If you would check anywhere,it is the flop, and c/r ai obv. |
