$11 PS - AKo vs 2 All-ins
Hey guys,
I was watching a friend play a SnG on pokerstars when he asked my advice on this hand. I'm curious what the winning players would have done, but I'm actually more interested in the cEV and $EV numbers (Fold, call, etc) from say SnG Wiz or SnG PowerTools. Assume no reads (he didn't mention any player tendencies) Poker Stars, $10 + $1 NL Hold'em Tournament, 75/150 Blinds, 7 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter MP: 880 CO: 2,680 BTN: 3,170 Hero (SB): 915 BB: 865 UTG: 3,560 UTG+1: 1,430 Pre-Flop: (225) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB) 2 folds, MP raises to 880 and is All-In, CO folds, BTN raises to 1,610, 2 folds Flop: (1,985) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In) Turn: (1,985) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In) River: (1,985) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In) Results: 1,985 Pot MP showed T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Tens) and LOST (-880 NET) BTN showed Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (pair of Queens) and WON 1,985 (+1,105 NET) Thanks for any help and info. |

Re: $11 PS - AKo vs 2 All-ins
I just have sngpt and it doesn't have the capacity to calculate ev after a shove and call. This is an instacall though, I don't need software to know this. Especially since you have 900 chips left and blinds are relatively hi. MP raises a wide range here and BTN can easily be trying to isolate with a weak hand. Super easy call. If you had like 2500 instead I might lean towards a fold.

Vers nailed it, with 915 its an instacall.
