Quick question about FD's

Hi all,

In general how scared do you often get about flush draws hitting on the river? I'm working on the principle that against a solid player, if I'm betting more then the pot odds allow for you to profitably call (Lets say $20 into a $30 pot), and they still call, can you rule out the flush draw? I understand this is horrible thinking against calling stations, but for someone who understands pot odds is it reasonable?

Disclaimer, yes I understand how deep you are has a lot to do with it, implied odds etc, but if your table image suggests you won't pay off the flush.

Reason behind the post is trying to work on my value betting on the river.
