Default [100nl] TT vs a LAG

Carlos Poker 0.50/1.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

saw flop | <font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

Button ($99.50)
SB Hero ($119.60)
BB ($100.00)
UTG <font color="#C00000">UTG ($109.99)</font>
BB ($100.00)

Preflop: Hero is in the SB with T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG raises to 4.00, 2 folds, Hero calls 3.50, 1 fold.

Flop (10.00) J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero checks, UTG bets 8.00, Hero calls 8.00.

Turn (26.00) 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero checks, UTG checks.

River (26.00) 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero bets 16.00, UTG raises to 56.00, Hero folds

Villain was 41/26/2.7 over ~100 datamined hands. I thought about 3betting preflop but Villain is likely to call and I end up OOP in an inflated pot. Comments on all streets welcome.

Wow, what a strange hand. What are we value betting on the river? 99 maybe 77 but I doubt it. What better hand are we getting to fold?? Um nothing. I think this is a c/c on the river. You really beat nothing but a bluff here and there is not really any value.

i think there r quite a few worse hands that call, nines, sevens, pair of sixes sometimes a rivered 8 and every now and then the retarded ak or aq (our bet is pretty small compared to pot and ppl at these stakes consistently call down with gib in my experience) - id always value bet and only c/c if i think he might bluff or value bet very thin which i think r unlikely (he woulda prob bluffed turn and not many villains value bet thin at these stakes). Id fold to this raise without reads, he could easily have a jack or better. Overall i think u played it well (raising flop to induce bluffs against mental cases isnt bad either but pretty player dependant and high variance).

I think villain calling light should be a reason in favor of 3betting, not against it.
