Default JJ against cbet raiser

Hi stats are 36/5/1,5 and very interesting is that he reraised to cbet 66% at this moment I had about 50 hands.
He reraised my cbet 2 times before; I folded.

OnGame's Room No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (5 handed) by Hand Converter CG

saw flop|saw showdown

SB ($35.45)
BB ($8.50)
Hero ($54.55)
MP ($10.00)
Button ($52.40)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $2, MP folds, Button folds, SB calls $1.75, BB folds.

Flop: ($4.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, SB raises to $7, Hero ??.

ok right to get the money in? or do just better hands call us?
what is about calling hoping he commits to the pot on the turn??

I would play this flop aggressively, and make a pot size raise. Hope to get action from straight draws, 88-TT, and maybe A7. Also, we're charging draws, and protecting our hand from overcards.

Call and let him stick it on the turn.

I call and raise the turn if possible. Based on your read I can't fold here. If you reraise the flop I think he can get away from a 7x hand easily. If you call he may take another stab at it on the turn.

There is no folding here at the very least. I see one of two ways:

a. Get it in now: He has shown interest, done this before. Let the bastard know that everytime you cbet it isnt with air.
b. Wait for the turn: Let him commit himself, then hammertime.

Call push turn is better .. you will get more value out of his weaker holdings

I have to differ from everyone else, I like a re-raise on the flop. I realize you might get value on the turn here, but the call flop/raise turn is so overused and its risky here.

Here's why I like a re-raise on the flop:

1.) Any A, K, Q, 8, or 5 will either scare you off or scare him off. It also might make a hand for him. There is 40% chance that one of these cards will hit the turn, so I'm not as comfortable letting other cards come out.

2.) A re-raise here, especially after you've folded twice to him in the last 50 hands in the same exact spot, will look like you're simply pushing back, and may cause him to come over the top all in. If he pushes back all-in, I like a call there.

3.) It will get him to stop coming over the top of you on the flop. If you call flop/bet turn, you've done nothing to stop his continued behavior in that spot. The re-raise here sends a clear message to cut it out.

I guess I like the more aggressive approach in this spot, and don't want to leave myself at the mercy of that turn card.

I agree that both 3 betting the flop and calling planning to commit on the turn are good lines. imo you have to mix up your game by not always 3 betting these flop raises with overpairs/sets, if you only call when you have a marginal holding that can't take much pressure you'll be easily exploitable.
