[50NL] AJ on monotome board...

Villain is 16/8/1.69 over 109 hands... Seemed solid.

The flop bet was just a standard c-bet and I decided to double barrel the turn as he could very well be on a drawing hand. On the river I catch my ace and check/call... Any comments/critism appreciated.

I honestly dont like the double barrel as youre doing it with more or less a complete bluff. You cant be really happy if a diamond hits and you cant be really happy if you hit your queen and he gives you alot of resistance. I guess as played tho the river call isnt bad b/c you can see villain doing this with the ace of diamonds and weaker kicker and youre getting better than 3-1 on your call.

Yea, I think there are alot better spots to double barrel than on a board like this.
