Default Why don\'t I want to fold?

Villain is 18/15 over a good sample, not really any history IIRC but he is a regular and every solid reg in these games 3bets quite a bit, and he is likely no different.

I know I have no pair and a pretty meh draw, but for some intuitive reason in my head I hate folding. Sbould I just fold this flop? If you do decide to play back, what's your line on this flop?

Party Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players

if im continuing, im shoving.

4 straight outs, back door flush, possibly pair outs, possibly having the best hand, BU vs BB I dont think shoving here is bad

I guess you don't want to fold because this is a weak bet and you envision getting there with the T ball for the nuts on the turn, or at least peeling a club.

Agree that shoving > calling here. You may be beating air/flush draws from time to time, and thus you can have the best hand here in addition to having outs, etc.

i really dont like calling on the flop, so if you want to go with ur gut and continue i agree with the above that shoving is best. i think there are better flops to shove in this spot, but this isnt a horrible one.

his bet is ultra strange there, because the board is drawing. he reraises from the BB. i gave him JJ+, AK
fold it fast or flat call and see what happens on the turn.

haha yeah that is the first thing i noticed

its up to you to decide whether it looks weak or if it wants action. i'd lean towards the latter

This makes a lot of sense. Many of the hand that beat you that he will have in this situation will have a hard time calling if you push. And if he does call, you have some outs.

I think fold usually, push occasionally, but don't call. If you play with villain regularly, then you will need to occasionally push sets in this position as well.
