Am I leading or crai? (I though they were my two best options). Is anyone 4-betting pf, folding pf? His 3-betting range is JJ+/AK ? Am I just putting myself in a RIO spot, where the best I can hope for is splt? How about BF? |

Re: 100nl. AK on K high monotone.
I'd fold pre. Only 100 hands, but until he starts loosening up I'm gonig to assume he's at least pretty nitty. And I don't like 4 bet shoving against a nit who may not squeeze light. And I don't want to play AK oop against a nitty villain, because even if you flop a K you can face some tough spots.

Re: 100nl. AK on K high monotone.
preflop 4 betting sucks against a 12/6
What hands do you put villain on that you beat? Imo c/rai is really bad. |

[/ QUOTE ] Basially I thought that I couldnt check fold this hand, and he makes c-bet's on this board with alot of his range that I still beat. Meh... basicaly crai was the way of me getting the money in the middle and putting him to a decision. Plus the pot was ok size wise and I though he would fold AQ/JJ/AK(no heart) TT... stuff like that. Obv he calls w AA/KK/QQ but is that purely his 4-betting range? I'll admitt I was totally lost in this hand. |

Re: 100nl. AK on K high monotone.
He's folding hands you beat if you CRAI, and calling with hands that beat you. He may fold AK, and *maybe* AA with no heart, but your hand is a bluff if you CRAI.

Someone offer me a line with a reason for this flop. |

I don't even always call pf against this clown (maybe if hand sample was bigger. But still...)

This is why you don't call preflop.

OK.... I get pf... I agree. And now the mildly more taxing job of offering advice for the flop ?

Re: 100nl. AK on K high monotone.
I'd probably check/fold flop. This guy isn't squeezing light and this hits his range hard. Also, it's a small sample but his AF isn't very high, and he's probably at least somewhat thinking, so may realize that you could have hit this flop pretty good too.
I'll c/c if his flop bet is pretty small, and fold to any more bets. |
