It's thinner than you'd like, but I think you rr strong and go broke here. Villain is unlikely to have a better 2pr or a set -- or at least more likely to have an overpair than either of those. 45 would suck, of course, but you're ahead of a lot of stuff.

This is why I used to advocate so hard for playing without a HUD. I usually had at least the beginnings of a handle on my opponent's play within a round or three by really noting how they played any one particular hand. Now that I'm playing with a HUD again, I'm in limbo for a couple rounds.

I dont use HUD, I just suck at note taking without at least four or so orbits. Anyway, I am confused, what are you saying is the move here, push or fold?

"rr strong and go broke" = push

You can expect to look silly sometimes and be drawing to 4 outs, of course, but you'll be good often enough. You did complete with 23s, right? Nice for your image either way.

Yea I completed....so many limpers in front of me, I couldnt help myself. On a side note, as far as pushing goes, you do not think there is a very good chance we are behind? With all of those callers and then the villain still reraises, a set or straight isnt very likely?

I would fold here, i dont know how many overpairs you see here, as surely button would raise 99+, and should be raising 77, 88 anyway. Youre probably up against a set, beter 2 pair or combo draw a lot of the time. Either way youre way behind or slightly ahead.

For the times you look silly and lose to the made hand, there are two times when a guy with 88-TT calls you a fish and loses his stack to you. Or you see a combo draw that gets there or not when you're a slight fave with current overlay.

Embrace the variance if you're calling with 23s (I would have, too.)

I guess I messed this hand up but I ended up folding. One villain had AK diamonds, other had top two. Obviously two notes were made there.
