villian is one of the better 60 regulars, and he is pretty nitty early levels. i have 5K hands on him so he probably knows exactly what i have. call and hope to split the pot.

Call. I would think he might re-raise preflop with AK. 99 seems like the only hand he could possibly have that you are behind. Would he play 99 like this? Even though you describe his as really tight, I would find it difficult to fold here. He could just as easily have KQ, I think.

KQ
99
AK
air

Those are what he could have here. I can't really see him on any type of draw.

I would call.

Tough, but I don't see you ahead here often.
Looks like a set/AK. 99 would fit perfectly to a nit here.

He probably isn't re-raising with AK so we can narrow it to
99/AK which makes it a fold.

I have a hard time folding. Wouldn't he bet the flop w/ a set or overpair to get some chips in the pot?

Not necessarily, it really depends on the exact regular.

sammyace101, he is like 3% roi at 60's and 4% at 114's. i've never seem him do anything dumb like call a L3 preflop raise vs me with KQo and go broke on Kxx, etc.. maybe i am giving him too much credit...

i pretty much anounced that i did not have an ovpair by checking the flop so the only way for him to extract value with a set is to check behind on flop

Yeah, villain can easily have checked 99 on flop as you have nothing. Either chopping or losing so I muck.

Yeah, I guess folding is better since we're probably chopping at best. He seems pretty solid. I really think he's got AK though. I don't think he calls w/ 99 here does he?
