Default 100NL blind war w JTs

Villain and myself were playing at two tables together so we had played in few pots nothing real special. He had raised my cbets a couple of times and I had let the hand go.

I believe his range to be pretty wide since I have seen him calling in pos. with 23 and 56s.

55/11/.4 206 hands

Should I have bet this turn?

Since I checked should I call here or raise?
It seems like a bit of a weak bet.

on the flip side, there isn't much downside to betting as this guy seems v passive. still i don't think c/c is a bad choice either as that card doesn't seem to matter much in terms of getting a fold from this guy.

i don't like c/r as these types don't like to fold much.

Given this guy is 55/11/.4 over 200 hands. He is probably a bit of a calling station. Therefore I would lean towards a c/c because I would not expect to have much FE on this turn card.

Downside would be that this player will call our semi-bluff too often for it to be optimal.

well, yeah.

i think as long as we don't check raise, the end results will be close in EV.

even against a passive villain how often do you expect to see the turn get checked through?
