Default 400NL: adjusting to more aggressive games pre-flop

recently started playing 400 and i am finding out that the games are much more aggressive than 200 and i am having trouble adjusting. i have been 4-betting light and calling in this spot and c/ring most flops. villain is 52/30/2.

Full Tilt Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $611.70
SB: $356
BB: $466.30
a breath of air (UTG): $460
MP: $547.50
CO: $648.40

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to a breath of air (UTG)
a breath of air raises to $16, MP calls $16, CO folds, BTN raises to $44, a breath of air ???

I would 4b, it will make them less inclined to squeeze you if they are bad.. which he is, plus ur UTG so he will be able to give you more credit

I'd probably fold, he's bad enough to never fold a pair or an ace here

Against a likely terrible player like this I think calling is best. KQs is a great hand to just call here, since we'll hit a ton of flops and be able to extract value postflop.

As an aside: while I would almost never 4bet bluff an opponent this loose, KQs is one of the worst hands to be doing it with. You don't want to be turning a hand with this much value into a bluff. There's the standard all worse hands fold, all better hands call/push. But also by calling, you let him stick around with hands like KJ or QTs, hit a pair, and have him outkicked to win a big pot.

just saw that ur UTG... if he 3bets a ton regardless of the pfrs position i would stick to what i said above otherwise this hand is tough to play. maybe folding is best.
i dont like 4betting is this spot.
