Default 50NL - AJo against a donkey

I'm terrible against these donks. Villain is 46/16/1.5 over 180 hands.

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $38.20
SB: $61.70
BB: $69.95
Hero (UTG): $50.45
CO: $64.45

Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $2, 3 folds, BB raises to $4, Hero calls $2

Flop: ($8.25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero...?

Is my PF stupid? If I bet the flop, how much, and then what do I do if he calls and checks to me on the turn? If I check the flop, what do I do if a blank falls and he checks to me on the turn?

Thanks - I hate donkeys (but love them too obv).

Meh, i usually just fold pre. As we shall see, post flop is often tricky due to poor preflop info.

88? 22? AA? KK? QQ? He could have any of those hands, or 67s, we're clueless.

Make it $5 and give up.

This is pretty read dependent for me. How has the villain played post flop thus far, does he love to check raise flops, does he shut down if he misses? You have 180 hands on him and he plays a lot of flops so you should be able to get some of these details.

If i have no reads for some reason, bet 2/3 and fold if he plays back.

Do you know anything about his pf minraises? Typically I don't fold to a minraise pf but AJ is a tough hand to play, even though you're IP. As played I'd probably b/f here since he's not that aggressive. If he just calls I give up.

Fold pre, he's not nearly aggro enough to make calling ok.

Probs check then fold turn unless he 3bets lighter than most of these donks, in which case a cbet is ok.

check. you don't much FE on that flop. min 3bet is AK/AQ alot (against me at least); i guess their rationale is they want to see a flop cheap yet they want to 3bet. he's not folding AK/AQ/med pairs, etc. on this flop. it's not that big of a pot anyway if you lose it by checking the flop. next time you can stack him on a KQT/JJx flop.
