- 6BI Session - A game?
I just had a - 6BI session. I think I played pretty well. I don't want to blame poor results on 'running bad', when I may be playing less than my A game. I've been on a downer the last couple of weeks, and am probably down nearly 10BI's during this period. I actually don't think that I'd play any of the hands any differently.
Hand 1: Villan is 40/7/2.6 Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com UTG ($48.50) MP ($51.70) CO ($73.25) Hero ($122.85) SB ($109.35) BB ($16.45) Preflop: Hero is Button with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls $1, MP calls $1, 1 fold, Hero calls $1, 1 fold, BB checks. Flop: ($4.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players) BB checks, UTG bets $4.5, MP folds, Hero raises to $14, BB folds, UTG raises to $33.5, Hero raises to $105, UTG calls $14 (All-In). Turn: ($157) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) River: ($157) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: $157 Hand 2: Villan is 31/19 I nearly always re-raise pre-flop here but given stack sizes, being OOP Iand the fact that villan is a loose donk, and the fact that a re-raise and post-flop c-bet would make an almost villan stack sized pot I decided to call. I'm sure that this is the hand that most people will disagree with, and say it's a must re-raise pre-flop. I see the argument but am sure villan will stack off with TP or any overpair post flop, that he may fold-pre-flop to a re-raise. Re: - 6BI Session - A game?
The fact that you show the cards that come out after the action is over is enough to say that you are a results oriented player

In the hands I've not posted the results! The hands are shown as the output of the handconverter gives. |

Re: - 6BI Session - A game?
in hand 2 all the reasons for not raising were the reasons why you should be raising

Re: - 6BI Session - A game?
Hand #1 - call flop. If you get it in against this player you have 30% equity.
Hand #2 - re-raise preflop. If someone can fold 99 or AJ correctly to your re-raise here...well then you'll just have to 3-bet more won't you? Hand #3 - bet 1/2 pot or even less on the flop. As played folding is best but w/e, calling isn't horrible. Hand #4 - fine. Hand #5 - fine as along as you can have AQ here as well and he's not playing perfectly with JJ. |

Re: - 6BI Session - A game?

Re: - 6BI Session - A game?
Hand 3 is a fold. Passive fish don't raise flop with one pair here. Others are standard.
