100nl. Bottom set facing gross overbet from pfr.
I've just started a few shots at 100nl. Playing a bit tighter than I normally play, so I am 17/15/3
Villian is 45/11/1. He calls 3-bets lightly He has made these overbets before, but I dont remember him being called. Just get it in a.s.a.p right? Thoughts on pf also pls. Should I raise. Re: 100nl. Bottom set facing gross overbet from pfr.
I typically 3bet this preflop all day unless I have reason not to. but its not mandatory or anything esp. being in position.
flop - yeah omg just get it in. overbet on scary board is usually a big pair that is scared of the board and doesnt want u to suck out. |

Re: 100nl. Bottom set facing gross overbet from pfr.
Raise, get it in on the flop if at all possible. Overbet is more likely an overpair trying to protect his hand than something that beats you.
PF: 3-bet or call pre, either line is fine. If he's been stealing a lot be more inclined to 3-bet, if he's only stealing with strong hands be more inclined to call. |

Re: 100nl. Bottom set facing gross overbet from pfr.
Make sure to pause a while before pushing to give the impression you're wondering whether to commit with a draw and then fist-pump when called because this is a big pair all day long. And 3-bet preflop - you can't have people feeling comfortable raising into you from the small blind. I'd only not 3-bet if Villian was extremely tight from the SB.
