Re: 5nl weak fold to 1/3pot turn donk?
I guess JT fits the bill here but folding here is very weak. Its only a small bet so I imagine you could get this to a showdown fairly cheaply. What were you so afraid of?

Re: 5nl weak fold to 1/3pot turn donk?
This guy was very passive (.3 AF as noted) so i put him on a K or better. This seems pessimistic in retrospect. If my read was right, I figured i was drawing to 5 outs at best, and i dont think I could get $3.50ish from him on the river if he did have a K, or worse get stacked by JT. Also, i dont think a raise folds any better hands (if he has any king he calls all day).
I guess my question really is: How do we narrow a station's range with a marginal made hand like this when donked into? I now think he could be doing this with a king, a worse queen, turned 2 pair, T9, J9, JT. The odds are attractive, but i'll be folding many rivers facing another bet so it feels wrong to call. Overanalyzing? |
