Default 200 NL - How do i get villain to stack off

I have a lot of info on villain and based on this info, i feel that i misplayed the hand in question.

Hand Histoies: 1) I 4bet him PR with AA and he folded and claimed to have KK.

2) I 4bet him with AKs and he folded. He didn't say anything, but i asked him if he folded KK again. Probably stupid, but whatever.

3) He opens from the Button, i 3bet him with AA. He overbet pushes with KK and i stack him

he is running 19/9/6 over 700 hands and has maintained his aggression. He picked off a few steals attempts and i have yet to fight back. i decide this is the hand that i'm going to play back.

Hero ($250) is in MP3 and is dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Villain ($200) is OTB.

Hero raises to $8. Villain re-raises to $25. Hero calls.

Flop ($50) K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero bets or checks, planning to check raise?

After i get some responses, i'll post the ensuing action.

I'd underbet the pot ($20?) and if he raises, reraise minimum or a little over minimum. Suck him in.

If he calls the flop, I'd check/raise the turn if I thought he'd go for a kill if he senses weakness. If not, bet straight PSB, get the pot big, if he folds, he folds.

i personally wont call a 3 bet with kq oop but das jus me. die bitters line seems very good to me....what were your stats at the table? because if you were laging it up and he can be 3 betting u light then i think the call is ok.but if u have reasonable stats i think the pf call is spew.

there is a good chance he is pissed off and is slow playing AA or will stack of with AK even, so bet pot, if he raises call. and just push turn

does this ever work at these levels? at the micros i can pull this off but since i only underbet when i have something i figure attentive opponents at the higher levels will clue into this immediately.

Is underbetting necessary? Can't i just make a normal bet?

As the hand played out, i checked, he bet $30, i raised to $100. He thought for a while and typed, "i have AK. I fold."
And he folds.

Don't call a reraise with KQ heads up out of position. If he stacks off, his range is going to be QQ-AA. You have 55% equity vs that range. If he has AK in particular, then he should be able to get away without stacking off since he has position on you. Remember that if he has AK then he can't like this flop all that much since QQ and KK are certainly a big part of your range.

If you want to play a big pot, then bet $50 at the flop. With his aggression post flop and your history, he'll raise AA and AK (as well as sets) to "see where he's at." Then you can push and he might talk himself into calling with AA, but probably fold AK.

Do you have reason to believe he is 3 betting your MP raise from the button w/o AQ+, QQ-AA? He seems aggro post flop but your hand histories all show him 3 betting w/ premium holdings. Given his range, your check raise lets him play his range perfectly on this flop.

Fold KQs oop here
as played bet this flop into aggro player

Agree on both accounts. If I get called I check the turn hoping to check/raise.

So everyone advises donking into the PF 3better? Is this something you all do often? With what ranges are you making these bets? Are those ranges well balanced or always with strong holdings?

I'm not completely sold on this line but I'd like to hear some more input.
