Default JJ - I don\'t know how to play vs LAGs

Vilain is 30/13/3.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed)

Button ($40.60)
Hero ($197.40)
BB ($309.70)
UTG ($80.00)
MP ($204.80)
CO ($197.00)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
MP calls $2, 2 folds, Hero raises to $8, 1 fold, MP calls $6.

Flop: ($18) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets $15, MP raises to $40, Hero ....

Easy fold against a small AF, but I need some general plan against a LAG here, thanks.

Bump; even a range of such a villain would be helpful.

any line you take is dependant upon on how you play... you want a weaker hand to call.. so do what it takes to make him think you are weaker then what you hold..

i dunno... this is so bland

might be a set ...

[ QUOTE ]
MP calls $2, 2 folds, Hero raises to $8, 1 fold, MP calls $6.

[/ QUOTE ]

since he limp calls .. this is often 22/44/99 ... or a 'tricky' played overpair ...

I think his stats show that he plays a lot of hands "to hit" ...

This could be 42, 94, 29, aswell or some trash like that

I dont think this player would raise you with air on a flop he doesnt hit ...

Theres no general plan vs a LAG here (there are no general plans in specific situations in poker).

I would call and reevaluate the turn. If he fires a PSB again i'm out.

Shoving the flop raise is overplayed and the only hands you beat are TT/88/77/66-55/33.

I've seen him play a set very fast. He seemed to be positionally aware; not a bad LAG.

if you have a reasonable sample, look at his raise Cbet stat, and 3bet if it is 10%+. there are tonnes of hands you beat here. you just have to push LAGs around. you could call and c/r AI on turn but there are too many turn cards that you don't want to see.

i would 3bet here

shove?

Also wtf at folding vs pple with lower AF's. My view might be skewed because i play like 30/25, but pple are usually raising alot of these flops with less then a set. And my shoving range here is alot of flush draws, and if we have aggro history I expect to get called by A high flush draws pair of nines etc. If your a nit and you shove he will prolly fold all worse hands tho.
