You realize that you only beat 99/TT/JJ/air that is still in his range on the river right.

Bet the flop and stack off damnit. The flop check is really, really bad.

I don't like it, especially if you don't have any specific information/reads on Villain.

And please don't stack off at one of the worst possible turns. An unknown isn't bluffing or v-betting JJ-99 like this enough to make up for the times you're behind 33-88 and AA/KK.

I really dont understand why

I put him like AQ+/99+ after preflop call and took my chances againt 2-6 outer, thinking he might bluff AK/AQ on turn and VB 88/TT/JJ. Obv. the river AI is dusgusting.

I guess I just just b/c flop.

I think an unknown is calling more PPs preflop. He won't fold 33+ and we don't really want to see A/K/J on the turn (or any 4-to-straight-card either), A/K because AK is a pretty likely hand and if he don't have it it will kill our action. J just because it will kill our action vs most lower PPs.

We don't love giving a freecard to AK either because it's giving a 6-outer a free shot in a big pot.
