[full stack]If you had a full stack, then call the min-raise and play for set value. c/f if you miss the flop, even if you have an "overpair" to the board. I suppose if the flop is 789 you need to stick around, but mostly play for a set.

Donk bet for $6 when you hit a set on the flop.

With a read of some sort, you might get more creative post flop and not just c/f so easily when you miss.

I think folding to the min-raise is bad. I think you'll get at least $20 back (including what's already in the pot already) often enough when you hit a set for your additional $2 call to be +EV.
[/full stack]

[short stack]
However, since you are short stacked. Push. You give up too much if you raise in EP then fold everytime you're reraised. Either open fold. Or limp/call. Or limp/fold. Or raise/push. I can't see raising such a big percentage of your stack just to fold to reraise as being profitable long term.[/short stack]

Rathole preflop to only have $10 on the table.

Move down and learn how to shortstack. Experiment ffs.

"Percentage of stack too big to fold profitibly long term"

The percentage of stack is irrelevant because this is a cash game. Only pot odds and fold equity are important here.

And where is that thread on attacking shortstacks?
