Default Oh jeez, what did I do now?

Villain in this hand was very loose preflop and very aggressive postflop. I've seen him overbet the river on at least 3 occasions and take it down. The fourth time he overbet, he was called and showed garbage. I did not enjoy seeing him push over my raise, however.

Godfather-

Will he push over you if you bet the river?

If so I like a bet/call here.

As played I would probably just check call here. Check-min-raise? FPS, if you think he will call with a worse hand just check-raise all-in.

Quark,

My read on most of these 25NL LAGs is that they get real skittish about showing strenngth after somebody else has shown strength. So, I thought that I was more likely to get a crying call from my check-minraise.

Godfather-

You're right about these LAG idiots at 25NL, I like your thinking.

What do you think about the bet/call line?

See my feeling is that villain is unlikely to raise with worse hands than I hold. But, that he does have a tendency to bet the hell out of them. So, bet-call hurts me in the long run (IMO) because it freezes villain and stops him from doing what comes naturally to him (ie over-betting the pot).

Given this information c/c is definitely the play. Though your min c/r is sexy, I think this board is a little to dangerous to be getting cute.

Out of curiousity, when Villain pushes over my check-raise, what do you put him on? I couldn't find a fold because of the pot odds, but I was surprised to see what he held in the end.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 54, maybe 9T here. To say that you were surprised makes me believe he had K6o
