I like the flop and turn because you're getting value from hands with a 7 and 99-JJ.... but he would most likely check behind on the river with those type of hands..... looks like you were getting taken to value town the whole way.

Hands like this tilt me harder than anything.

I'd probably play the same and fold the river. Or spite-call the river and lose. Probably the second one tbh imo.

pushing turn here seems very very bad unless you think hes calling with a 9 or 8 or some lameass straight draw.. I would call till river. But this kinda depends on reads... Thats why i turned those fking crap stats off, Im now forced to actually pay attention.

He might go crazy with 78 too here since these guys generally have the brain of a retarded chicken.. So i def call river.

I've already talked to smellmuth about this hand on msn, but I'll drop my thoughts in here too.

I would personally call this down all the way (without any better reads than the stats alone). If you wanted to get away from your hand, it's too late now. Calling the turn to fold to a small bet on a river card that is unlikely to improve villain, is a mistake imo. I am not pumping my fist when I call this or anything, but this opponent is going to be pretty unpredictable, and I definitely think you will see some weird JJ/TT/87 or even a bluff, often enough to make the call profitable.

Thanks !

and fwiw, I agree with you. It's not a great spot, but you can't fold this river once you call the turn.

Tough hand.

Don't know if I agree with shoving the turn unless you've seen this guy make hero calls before. Think you get more value from 99-JJ by calling.

On the end (and perhaps we've found my major leak) but I call (sounds even worse once I type it). While 87 is definately in his range, as is a 4 to a lesser extent, I think you catch him value bluffing 99 - JJ, and maybe even somthing crazy like A7 here often enough to make it profitable.

Please rip me a new one if you feel I'm way off. I might need to get berated on this one.
