Default Computer bogged down by PT and/or PAHUD

Fairly recently, my computer has been slowing down when I play 6+ tables of poker with PT and PAHUD running. This seems to happen when PAHUD is pulling the stats up for a given poker table (so, it usually happens when I first open new tables). Sometimes the tables lag badly and/or the sound stops working for a short period.

FWIW, I have 2GB of RAM and my hard drive has 300+ GB free. I run Windows XP. I have recently compacted my hand histories, if that makes a difference.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

When was the last time you defragged?

Download and run HijackThis and post your log here.

you probably have a ton of old files in the folder that PT has to scan through the first time, make sure you move your old files to a different folder to archive them.

Do you have the auto-rate feature checked? Turning that off reduced almost all of my lag.
